Highly Sensitive People (HSP)

Somehow different from others…

Are you startled by unexpected loud noises? Distracted by other people’s loud voices or high-volume music when others don’t seem to mind?

Can a thoughtless comment bring you to tears?

Do you find yourself needing quiet and solitude… not only at the end of each busy day… but even long for small, peaceful breaks throughout the day?

Are you self-conscious or ashamed of the intensity of your emotion, whether in response to beauty or difficulty?

High sensitivity is a trait, not a dysfunction.

I know from experience that it’s no picnic to be highly sensitive in a relatively insensitive world.

Guess what? High sensitivity, also called "Sensory Processing Sensitivity," affects up to 20% of the population.

There are many ways to navigate the world we live in while both accepting the aspects of high sensitivity that hurt and cherishing the qualities that can deepen your life experiences in transformative ways.

I understand… and can help.

For some HSPs, just learning about the trait puts the journey to self-acceptance and improved quality of life in motion.

I can help you explore and practice ways to become more comfortable in life’s uncomfortable situations, which are far more numerous for HSPs.

You will learn that you do not have to feel embarrassed or ashamed when people insist you are "TOO SENSITIVE."

You have every right to own, express, and VALUE the gifts of your high sensitivity.

I invite you to acknowledge and learn to celebrate the gift of your deeply felt reactions to the world without self-consciousness.

I would be truly honored to walk this path with you.
